Summer and early autumn are perfect times to explore Europe, and the sun-kissed shores of the Mediterranean might be calling you. Wondering what cities you should look for on a Mediterranean cruise itinerary? Food markets, lively festivals and golden beaches welcome visitors to this Mediterranean gem where you can spend your day at the beach or in a cozy tapas bar. In summer months (June to August) Barceloneta Beach is bustling with activity and the beachside chiringuitos (bars) are in full swing.
