From the Mekong to Tokyo: My Amazing Adventures

Hey there, fellow wanderlusters! I’ve just returned from the most amazing adventure on board the Avalon Saigon, cruising through Cambodia, including the bustling capital, Phnom Penh, and Vietnam. We capped it all off with an epic stop in Tokyo, where we added the iconic Mt. Fuji and the stunning Imperial Palace to our list of must-see places. This journey was filled with so much awesomeness, and I can’t wait to spill the beans!

Cambodia

Cambodia, Including Phnom Penh: Our trip kicked off in Cambodia, where we explored the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat. Seriously, this place is like a real-life Indiana Jones movie set. And guess what? We didn’t just stick to Angkor Wat. We ventured to Phnom Penh, the capital city, where we dived into the rich history and experienced the local cuisine.

Vietnam

Next stop, Vietnam! Ho Chi Minh City was an absolute blast. We got to dive into the history at the Cu Chi Tunnels, and we couldn’t get enough of the spring rolls. If you haven’t tried Vietnamese pho, you’re missing out!

Tokyo

Tokyo, you wild, vibrant city, you! The most delicious sushi I’ve ever had. But we didn’t stop there. We took a day trip to Mt. Fuji, and it was like stepping into a postcard. The views were mind-blowing. And we strolled through the serene beauty of the Sensoji Temple. It’s like an oasis in the heart of this bustling metropolis!

Avalon Saigon

Oh, let me tell you about the Avalon Saigon. This ship was pure luxury on the water. The cabins were cozy, with breathtaking views of the Mekong River. But what really stole the show were the amenities. From fine dining options to an open-air lounge, every part of this ship was designed for relaxation and enjoyment.
