Day 1 — Saturday, October 2 – Embark – Athens (Piraeus), Greece
Begin your adventure in Athens, the cradle of democracy and Western civilization. Before boarding, visit iconic landmarks like the Acropolis, Parthenon, or stroll the Plaka district for charming cafés and local crafts. As evening falls, enjoy your first view of the Greek coastline as your ship sets sail into the Aegean Sea.
Day 2 — Sunday, October 3 – Ephesus (Kusadasi), Turkey
Step back in time at the legendary ancient city of Ephesus, one of the most well-preserved Greco-Roman archaeological sites in the world. Walk through marble streets, visit the Library of Celsus, and see the Great Theatre where St. Paul once preached. Later, explore the bazaars of Kusadasi for handwoven rugs, spices, and Turkish delights.
Day 3 — Monday, October 4 – Chios, Greece
Discover Chios, the “fragrant island” known for its mastic trees and medieval charm. Explore Pyrgi, a unique village decorated with geometric facades, or relax by the sea in Mavra Volia, a black pebble beach formed by volcanic rock. Don’t miss sampling mastiha liqueur, a local specialty found only here.
Day 4 — Tuesday, October 5 – Thessaloniki, Greece
A vibrant blend of ancient and modern, Thessaloniki is steeped in Byzantine history. Climb the White Tower for panoramic views, explore the Rotunda and Roman Forum, or wander along the seaside promenade lined with lively cafés. The city’s energy and cuisine make it one of Greece’s most captivating stops.
Day 5 — Wednesday, October 6 – Volos, Greece
Located between the sea and the mountains, Volos is your gateway to the mythical region of Mount Pelion. Take a day trip to the Meteora Monasteries, perched dramatically atop sandstone cliffs, or explore local mountain villages like Makrinitsa. Sample tsipouro (Greek spirit) with meze in a traditional seaside taverna.
Day 6 — Thursday, October 7 – Mykonos, Greece
Welcome to glamorous Mykonos, the crown jewel of the Cyclades. Stroll through the whitewashed maze of Mykonos Town, snap photos of the iconic windmills, and soak up the sun on beaches like Psarou or Ornos. In the evening, enjoy dinner overlooking the sea in Little Venice, followed by Mykonos’ world-famous nightlife.
Day 7 — Friday, October 8 – Paros, Greece — (Tender)
End your voyage on the serene island of Paros, a gem known for its golden beaches and cycladic charm. Explore the fishing village of Naoussa, shop in Parikia’s cobblestone alleys, or visit the Church of Panagia Ekatontapiliani, one of Greece’s oldest and most revered churches. The perfect ending to a week of Greek enchantment.
